The Horn of Plenty has four rooms licensed for weddings and civil partnerships. Whether you’re planning an intimate gathering of close friends and family or a larger, more lavish affair, the choice is yours, and we have a space to make your wedding dreams a reality.
Wanting an outdoor ceremony? Our 5 acre gardens offer jaw-dropping views across the Tamar Valley. It’s the perfect backdrop for any wedding day, no matter if it’s for your ceremony, your reception drinks, or your evening photos.
Our Country House Hotel
Our small country house hotel is both stylish and relaxed. You can get married here throughout the year, and all days of the week. You’re welcome to bring your dog as ring bearer or as honoured guest, and in all things you’ll find us flexible, helpful, and keen to help you make this your Perfect Day.
You’ll find us on the top of a hill overlooking the stunning Tamar Valley on the Devon / Cornwall border. With luxurious rooms, one of the South West’s top restaurants and beautiful gardens, it’s the ideal place to share your day with each other, or just a few of your closest friends and family.

We’ve mentioned our restaurant, and one of the things we are passionate about is food: we think that your wedding menu should be as individual as you are. You’ll have the opportunity to meet with our head chef, who will help you design your own bespoke menu with a choice of courses.

We offer weddings in all different shapes and sizes, and are happy to tailor the day around you. Options include:
Exclusive Use Weddings
Ideal for 30-90 day guests, and up to 120 evening guests. You would have exclusive use from 11am on your wedding day until 11am the following day. We do ask that you fill all 16 bedrooms.
Afternoon Weddings
Best suited for 20-60 guests if you don’t want any evening entertainment, and don’t want to commit to any rooms. You’d have sole use of the ceremony room/bar/lounge/restaurant from 12 noon until 5pm.
Great Outdoor Weddings
Ideal for 90 – 150 day guests, and up to 200 evening guests. Also a great option for those wanting to “paint their own canvas”- it’s a big space for you to imprint your personality.
