Don't just take our word for it...

Close to faultless….

This small hotel is as close to faultless as you can get. The staff do everything possible to make you feel welcome and at home, the best rooms are spacious, individual and comfortable and the food is exceptional.

Amazing hotel.

A wonderful night away. Amazing hotel. Excellent rooms. Fabulous views. Huge lovely bathroom. The biggest most comfortable bed ever.. Dinner was amazing, a drink in the lounge and your order taken. You are then taken to your table. All food freshly cooked. Would suggest the lobster ravioli. Taster soups and great mains of fish. Excellent friendly service with nothing too much hassle for them. Breakfast perfect, all cooked on order and plenty to choose from. We definitely recommend this hotel. Cannot fault it in anyway. Definitely going back and soon.

So glad we chose The Horn of Plenty

Thank you to you all for making Beccy and Allan’s wedding day so perfect.  All the arrangements, setting up, the delicious food and drinks went so well.  All the staff were BRILLIANT.  They worked so hard and there was nothing that was too much trouble for them.

Everything went off seamlessly and we could not have been happier with the results of all their hard work. Their suggestions and help on the day made it all so perfect.

We are so glad we chose The Horn of Plenty for this special day.  The feedback that we have received so far from our guests was all positive – how much they had enjoyed themselves, what a beautiful setting and how lovely the hotel was, how amazing the staff were.

Exceeded every expectation

I got married here on the 20/10/17, the staff went above and beyond and exceeded every expectation. Thank you for your kindness, patience and making my day perfect!

The food is the best I have ever eaten, the grounds are beautiful, rooms gorgeous and its dog friendly!

You will not be disappointed with a visit to this beautiful gem.  I can’t wait to go back!

Warm welcome and a relaxed atmosphere

We’ve been to the Horn of Plenty quite a few times in the last few years, normally for our wedding anniversary but most recently for a birthday celebration. Always a warm welcome and a relaxed atmosphere, no stuffiness here. We particularly like the rooms in the converted coach house, especially number 15 with its balcony and glorious views over the countryside. Dinner and breakfast are always excellent and there’s a good selection of wines available too.

The dates of our ‘life events’ mean that our visits are always off-season, and the hotel really offers very good value for money at this time of year. We do look at what else is around, but we’re drawn back to the Horn of Plenty every time because of the great experiences we’ve always had.

It’s also worth driving through rather than around the national park to get to the hotel, to see just how beautiful this part of the world is.
