Pot Luck Mondays: Available Every Monday

For over 25 years, Monday night at The Horn has been known as Pot Luck night. When it was introduced by founders Patrick and Sonia Stevenson, there were no fresh deliveries of food on Mondays, so in order to open on Monday evening, any remaining produce from the weekend would be used. As a result, a reduced menu was offered at a significantly reduced price.

The tradition has continued, despite the fact that ingredients are now delivered daily. Today, we offer a choice of three starters, three mains and three desserts for just £29.00. We’ve recently also introduced a further two choices of each course, available at a small supplement.



Delicious Devon Cream Tea
Available Every Day

There’s no better way to enjoy a sunny day relaxing on our patio and admiring the views of the Tamar Valley. On cooler days, our lovely log fires and comfy sofas offer the perfect retreat.  Alternatively,  enjoy a table in our lovely restaurant and enjoy the lovely scenery.

Our Devon Cream Tea includes home-made scones with a generous helping of strawberry jam and Devon clotted cream, and a choice of tea or coffee. £9.50 per person.

Or better still, indulge in a Luxury Afternoon Cream Tea, which also includes a selection of sandwiches and delicious home-made cakes. £14.50 per person.

  

Lobster and Champagne Evening
Friday 25th April and Friday 13th June

This event always receives fantastic reviews , so do book early to avoid disappointment.

Why not stay the night?  April dinner, bed and breakfast rate from just £235 per room.  June rate from £245 per room, both prices based on 2 sharing.

As keen supporters of all things Devon, we’re delighted to be part of Devon Restaurant Month again, celebrating the fantastic produce available in this part of the world.


Lunch: 4 courses for just £24.50
Our ‘All Devon’ lunch highlights include Vulscombe goats cheese terrine with beetroot and elderflower, followed by a confit leg of Creedy Carver duck with blackcurrant vinaigrette.  Click here for full menu.

This is a first for us, but one we’re sure you’ll enjoy!

Savour some of the very finest food in the South West, beautifully cooked and presented by Head Chef Scott Paton. Celebration of Asparagus Evening: Wednesday 4th June

This was a first for us last year and it proved hugely popular, so we thought we’d repeat it!
Enjoy 6 delicious courses, including whipped goat’s cheese with truffle poached asparagus and beetroot for starters, and a rump and shoulder of Devonshire lamb with asparagus ragu for mains.

Summer Supper Club: Wednesday 16th July

Enjoy the very best of this summer’s produce with a menu carefully selected by Head Chef Scott Paton, complemented with a selection of wines chosen by Sommelier Ruth Carter.

Highlights of the evening include seared Brixham scallops with celeriac and truffle, followed by roast breast of guinea fowl with a tarragon butter sauce. Vegetarian option also available.

French Evening: Wednesday 17th September

Enjoy 5 delicious courses with 5 matching wines, inspired by the great French Chef Bernard Loiseau.
