The Eden Project
Hailed as 'Eighth Wonder of the World' the Eden Project has become the 'must see' attraction in Cornwall. Golf
There are a number of excellent golf courses within easy reach of The Horn of Plenty, but the best known is probably St. Mellion and its renowned Jack Nicklaus course - a mere 15 minutes by car.

Pony trekking and riding on Dartmoor can be organised given prior notice.

The Horn of Plenty is situated between the rivers Tamar and Tavy, both well known for excellent salmon and trout fishing.
Walking
Dartmoor provides a wide variety of walking conditions which suit the very active or those wishing to take a leisurely stroll. Organised walks are also available.

The Horn of Plenty is only 12 miles from the marina at Plymouth, and the pleasures of Dartmouth, Salcombe, Newton Ferrers and Looe are all within easy drive.

Whilst this sport usually requires previous experience, an organisation in Gunnislake has facilities for the inexperienced to enjoy the pleasure of canoeing on the River Tamar. A delightful way of spending 4 hours on a summer's day.
