COST FOR THE DAY IS £65.00 PER PERSON

Master Chef and Co-Proprietor Peter Gorton from The Horn of Plenty Country House Hotel and Restaurant is resuming his extremely popular three course meal cookery demonstrations with a compilation of fresh and original new ideas and amazingly easy to follow, mouth watering recipes for you to recreate at home.

Peter's gentle approach and natural enthusiasm for teaching his greatest passion allows everyone to have a wonderful day and experience a fun opportunity to learn a host of cooking methods and ideas as well as improve on your skills, no matter if you are a beginner or an advanced cook.

So why not treat yourself or a friend to a fantastic day out and join Peter with his brigade in the kitchens and the surroundings of the beautiful Horn of Plenty!

Your day will begin at 9.30 a.m. with a cup of coffee or tea served with some home baked cookies just to set you up. Then Peter will give a brief talk for the morning's events before moving into the working kitchens.

Each guest will be given a detailed recipe pack for all the dishes you will see demonstrated and a small cookery related gift.

The cookery course will last for approximately three hours and is followed by a delicious lunch served with wine and coffee or tea to follow.

Before you leave, there will be a chance to see Peter again for any questions or advice you may be looking for on what you may have learned that day or general culinary questions.

Menus will vary through each of the cookery course dates, covering a variety of cultures, from European to Oriental.

Private cookery courses for minimum parties of ten and maximum of fifteen are available by separate reservations with flexible dates.

Horn of Plenty gift vouchers are available for all occasions.
Early reservations to avoid disappointment are strongly recommended.

Special discounted accommodation and dinner rates are available should you wish to lengthen the wonderful experience at the Horn of Plenty or if you are coming from a distance and just wish to relax in our luxury hotel in Devon.

Due to the limited space on each course please note that the full payment will be required upon confirmation of the booking. Refunds can only be accepted if the position is refilled.
